How Truth Work Media Takes Your Show from Start to Finish

If you have a story (and you do), a topic of interest, a passion and a lot of determination, you can make a podcast If you’re on this website and reading this blog, you have at least some interest in starting your own. So what’s holding you back?

The people we’ve worked with have answered that question many different ways. Some have ideas but aren’t sure how to structure them into a good format for a podcast. Others have everything mapped out, but aren’t sure what equipment to buy, or don’t have room to put a studio in their home. A few can get all the way through the recording process themselves, but don’t have time to edit.

All of these scenarios are solvable, and we’ve taken each of these setbacks and turned them into success stories.

So What’s it like Working with Truth Work Media?

Like all service businesses, we have a number of things we can do for you like our podcast editing services or provide you with your own podcast coach. With our process, we can help identify what you need to help your podcast excel. So, what’s that process look like? We brake it down into 4 different stages:

We’re big fans of details, but we like to start with dreams. If you want to work with us, we want to hear why you want to tell this story. What lit the fire? Why should others hear it? What goals do you have?

This conversation usually happens over a cup of coffee because, for us, this working partnership is as much about the relationship as the results. By the end of our meeting, we’ll be as enthusiastic about your project as you are, and we’ll bring all that energy into our work together.

The Details

Dreaming is fun, but it doesn’t get the work done (although we’d argue it definitely helps!). That means at some point we have to get into the nitty-gritty. How long should each episode be? What about the length of the season? Where should you put your podcast? Do you need sponsors? A website? How can you get people to listen?

These are all questions we’ll help you answer, and in the process, we’ll also hash out a recording, editing, and releasing schedule that’s best for you and your audience.

Once we have a good sense of your goals, your resources, and our schedule, we can dive into recording. What this phase looks like totally depends on what you want. We can bring our equipment to you, have you come to us, or help you from your own studio.

During the recording process, we’ll stand by while you do your thing. Our job is to make sure you have the tools you need to record a great podcast, and we’ll help you use them. Then, you can do your interviews, share your story, and get the content you’ve been waiting to create.

You won’t want to put everything you record into the final version of the podcast. So once you’re done recording, we’ll put it through editing until every minute that’s there is a good minute.

The Result

Once you have your podcast ready to go, we’ll help you decide where to put it and make sure it gets where it needs to go. We’ll also walk you through how you can promote your own podcast to get your target audience’s attention. If you want a website for your podcast so you can post supplementary blogs or other information related to your podcast, we can help you there, too.

How To Get Started

Continuous collaboration is the key to what we do. We’ll be with you for the twists and turns of telling a story and sharing that story with the world. To get started on your podcasting journey, fill out our podcast questionnaire. We’ll take it from there.

See you at coffee.
